Common Herman Miller Aeron Parts You Can Replace
Some of the most commonly replaced parts include:
Arm Pads
Arm pads are exposed to daily contact and can eventually become worn, cracked or sticky. Replacement arm pads are available for both Aeron Classic and Aeron Remastered, but the two versions are different.
Seat Foam
On the Aeron Classic, the foam at the front edge of the seat can flatten or deteriorate over time. Replacing this strip is a simple way to renew a worn component without replacing the seat or chair.
Available sizes:
- Size B — 360 × 70mm
- Size C — 400 × 80mm
Lumbar Support
A missing, cracked or worn Aeron Classic lumbar support can also be replaced separately.
Available sizes:
- Size B — 300 × 115 × 57mm
- Size C — 320 × 115 × 57mm
Aeron Classic or Aeron Remastered?

Aeron Classic and Aeron Remastered may look similar at first glance, but replacement components such as arm pads are not necessarily interchangeable.

How Do I Know My Aeron Size?
On an Aeron chair, feel underneath the top edge of the backrest for raised dots:
- 1 dot = Size A
- 2 dots = Size B
- 3 dots = Size C
